Pineapple Basil Drizzle

Ok, it’s another one of those simple recipes where we just put everything in the blender and blend. It’s also another way to sneak pineapple into your pizzas, which is another small step towards PINEAPPLE EQUALITY.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz Fresh cut pineapple

  • 2 oz Basil

  • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

Tools

  • Food processor

  • Squeeze bottle

STEPS

1. Trim and dice the pineapple into small cubes.

2. Remove any large stems from the basil. A little stem is ok and doesn’t need to go in the trash since we’re blending anyway.

3. Combine the pineapple, basil, olive oil, and salt in a food processor or blender and blend!

4. You can definitely use the spoon-and-drizzle technique, but a squeeze bottle also does the trick. Use a funnel for a cleaner and easier transfer.

5. Locked, loaded, and ready to drizzle pineapple on all the haters!
