ABOUT

THE PIZZA LIFE

Born into a pizzeria family, Alberto DeCicco’s pizza story is a classic version of “one thing led to another”.

Throwing dough around the dining room at his grandpa’s pizzeria led to working the pizza line in high school, which led to a pizza-making obsession, which led to building a brick oven in his parent’s backyard, which led to documenting the building process on his own website, Forza Pizza, which led to extensive pizza eating, which led to starting a pizza social network, and then a pizza swag shop, and ultimately, now, a national dealer of premium pizzeria equipment and a staple in the pizza community.

Since launching Forza Pizza in 2008, the goal was always to share pizza in as many was as possible. Whether it was a picture, video, recipe, swag, equipment, actual pizza, or otherwise. That mentality has led Forza Pizza through multiple iterations as the more Alberto plugged himself into the pizza industry, the more he was able to provide value to pizzeria owners.

When a friend asked for menu help, he would help. When another friend needed a pizzeria website, he built it. When a pizza brand needed social media management, he provided it. And when pizzeria owners began asking about equipment, Alberto came back with only the best products available.

Along the way, Alberto has been fortunate to do some pretty cool pizza things like compete and judge international pizza competitions, break the world record for longest pizza, pop-up in pizzerias as a guest pizzaiolo, as well as make pizzas at some of the biggest festivals. It’s all part of the pizza life which he loves! FORZA PIZZA!
